The B-Type has the appearance of an umbilical cable which is connected to the back of each Eva. This cable gives unlimited power to the Eva, so it avoids to have to use the Internal Battery. However, a slight hit in the back is enough to knock off the cable and gives a Defensive Score Point to the damage instigator.
